Whakakitaratara (Serated Edge) Lock off Method

A serated edge lock off that I often use to finish a kete (bag) or tauira (sampler)

Tauira (2011)
Harakeke (New Zealand Flax)
Plain (boiled) and black (commercial dye)

Whiri Kete - Whakakitaratara (2011)
Plain (boiled) and red (commercial dye).  
Pāpaka pattern (Pendergrast, 1984)
