Deconstructed Necklace - January 2014

This latest piece is made using piupiu technique for the NorthArt Summer members show TREASURE to TREASURE.   Members are asked to purchase an item from the local $1,2,3 shop and respond in 2 or 3D.

Connections - Two Corner Kete Jan 2014

On this kete the top whiri has been rolled under to create a clean edge.  The four plait handle is threaded through the base to secure it in place and the 'rod' of piupiu (dried harakeke) is bound with copper wire in the likeness of conduit.
